GÓMEZ-UPEGUI

SALOMÉ

I’m a writer drawn to the intersections of art, nature, social justice, and spirituality. My work appears regularly in publications such as Vogue, W Magazine, The Guardian, T Magazine, and Atmos, and I collaborate with select brands and institutions on thoughtful storytelling projects.

I’m the author of Feminista por accidente (Ariel, 2021), a collection of personal essays on feminism in Latin America, and I’ve contributed to many Phaidon anthologies, including Latin American Artists: From 1785 to Now (2023), Great Women Sculptors (2024), The American Art Book (2025), and Vitamin P4 ( 2026).

Alongside my writing practice, I love helping others find and feel greater clarity and confidence in their creative work through one-on-one guidance and workshops.

MORE ABOUT ME

I was born in Medellín and raised between Colombia and Miami, FL, where I now live with my husband and two children.

I spent several years working as a human rights attorney and have an LL.M. from Harvard Law School—an experience that will forever shape how I move through the world.
